The Denym & Diamonds custom order experience is like NO Other. Placing a custom order will allow you to have input on your garment. We will discuss your greatest body assets and also camouflage those areas that are not so flattering. This experience is a one- on- one appointment that allows you the privacy that a mall cannot offer. Not to mention your garment will be one of a kind, so there are no worries of duplication; which is a main concern of most fashionista’s. While I encourage all of my clients to speak freely and also give ideas. Please understand that ultimately the garment is a reflection of the “Denym & Diamonds” brand. Therefore if I feel that a garment or design idea is a blatant knock-off of another design or the style idea is not within the “taste” of the brand. I will possibly refuse to design the style or give suggestions to make the garment more brand worthy. Placing a custom order is very simple just follow the steps below:
Step 1: Call to schedule an appointment for a consultation.
Step 2: Upon arrival of your appointment we will discuss the details of your garment and overall “look”. After we have agreed upon colors, style, fit etc. You are required to pay a deposit, which is 50% of your total balance. I will not accept anything less than 50% at the time the order is placed. You will be given a date and time to come back and pick up your order.
Step 3: Return to the D&D showroom for the final fitting and pick up your order. At this time you will pay your remaining balance. Off you go with your custom D&D garment.
Q&A’s about Custom Orders
Q: How much are custom orders?
A: Prices may vary depending on fabric selection, style, design details etc. However you must be willing to spend a minimum of $150 to place a custom order.
Q: How soon can I get my custom order?
A: I require 2 weeks advance notice to process your custom order. If you need something right away contact me directly, schedule an appointment and possibly purchase a garment from “THE RACK”.
Q: What are garments from the “The Rack”?
A: These are pieces that I have designed that are ready to wear. Meaning you can purchase the garment and leave with it. These items typically” go” as soon as I put them out. Often times there is nothing left on the rack but it never hurts to call and ask if you need some to wear on short notice.
Q: Can I place a custom order over the phone?
A: No. All custom orders must be placed in person. If you are interested in placing a(n) order over the phone please shop” The Rack”
Q: How far in advance can I place a custom order?
A: Two month’s advance notice is the earliest I will accept a custom order unless you are ordering a bridal gown.
Q: Do you make custom Homecoming/Prom dresses?
A: No. Due to the different dress code guidelines of school districts, parents input etc. I have decided to refrain from designing any Homecoming/Prom dresses.
Q: Do you design custom pieces for kids, pre-teens and teens?
A. I have a boy’s collection coming out called DenymBoiz. This will be an actual off “The rack” collection. As far as girls. No, I do not custom design for kid (girls) or babies.
Q: I have some pieces I need altered; can you help?
A: Unfortunately No. I only do alterations on D&D pieces.
Q: I want to reconstruct a garment that I already have, can you help?
A: Unfortunately No. I do not do any reconstructive work on existing garments. I will not touch any garment that is not “Denym & Diamonds”.
Q: Can I order custom accessories?
A: Absolutely, I take custom orders on all accessories such as, belts, clutches, earrings etc. However the $150 minimum will still apply to process the custom order.
Q: Can I bring a picture of a design I have in mind?
A: You are more than welcome to bring photos to get your point across about your look. However, please understand I am a designer therefore I respect the time & creativity that goes into any garment. So I absolutely refuse to “knock-off” (duplicate) an exact piece. This goes against what I stand for as a designer and completely goes against my brand.
Q: Can I place a custom order for something that you made for someone else?
A: I do not duplicate that exact the same garment for any two clients. I can create a similar style for you and possibly change the color. The Denym & Diamonds brand is built on “Exclusivity”. This brand is a brand that encourages originality.
